Álvaro Martín, Pol Patiño, Guillermo Martín, Jero Bencomo, and Sergio Aragoneses represent college, academy, and professional football pathways connected to Tenerife.

Álvaro Martín
Felician University · NCAA Division II · Captain, 2020–2024 · MBA Graduate

Academic excellence
Earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration before completing a Master of Business Administration.
NCAA leadership
Captained Felician University from 2020 to 2024 and became one of the program’s main voices on and off the pitch.
Regional recognition
Named to the United Soccer Coaches First Team All-East Region in 2024.
Back-to-back conference honors
Earned CACC First Team All-Conference honors in both 2023 and 2024.
College soccer experience
Made more than 60 NCAA appearances and understands the demands of the US college game from the inside.

Pol Patiño
Cádiz CF · 2007-born · Winger
“Pol is direct, brave, and difficult to defend. He attacks space, takes players on, and plays with the confidence you expect from a Canarian winger. His move to Cádiz is an important step in a serious football pathway.”
Strong development pathway
Developed at Barranco Hondo in Tenerife before continuing his pathway in the youth ranks of UD Las Palmas.
Goal-scoring impact
Started strongly at Cádiz CF in División de Honor, scoring six goals and becoming a constant threat in the final third.
Pace and dribbling
Comfortable in tight spaces and at full speed, with the ability to break lines and create chances.
Step toward senior football
His performances earned him minutes with Cádiz C, an important test against older, stronger players.

Currently a goalkeeper at C.D. Tenerife, he has built valuable experience in Spain’s demanding professional transition leagues, including a loan spell with Arenas de Getxo.
