Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Tenerife Next Academy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and measurement technologies on https://www.tenerifenextacademy.com (the “Site”).

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your actions and preferences over time.

2. Our current use of cookies

TNA does not install its own advertising or retargeting cookies, build advertising profiles or sell visitor data. Optional third-party maps and social feeds stay blocked until you choose to load them. Once accepted, those providers may use their own cookies and technologies under their policies, including for advertising purposes.

Hosting and security systems may process limited technical information needed to deliver the Site, prevent abuse, and keep it available. This does not involve advertising cookies.

3. Cookieless analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and real-world performance. These tools are configured as privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement and help us see which pages are useful, whether the Site loads quickly, and whether important actions such as a contact form submission are completed.

We do not send names, email addresses, message content, or other contact-form details to analytics.

3a. Local storage we use

The Site stores three small values in your browser's local storage. None is a tracking cookie and none is sent to us or to third parties:

• tna-lang: remembers the language (English/Spanish) you chose. Kept until you clear your browser data.
• tna-consent-google-maps: remembers whether you accepted loading the embedded Google Map. Kept until you clear your browser data.
• tna-consent-social-media: remembers whether you accepted loading the live Instagram and TikTok profiles. Kept until you clear your browser data.

These values are used only to remember your choices, not to build an advertising profile. Accepting or rejecting social content does not change your separate Google Maps choice.

3b. Embedded Google Map

The "Tenerife" page includes a Google Maps embed. It does not load automatically: the map only loads after you click to accept it. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies and process your IP address under Google's privacy policy, including transfers outside the EU. If you do not accept, the page works normally without the map.

To withdraw this choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings; the map will ask for consent again on your next visit.

3c. Live Instagram and TikTok profiles

The About Us page always displays TNA profile cards with our own photographs. These previews are not live feeds and make no requests to Meta or TikTok. Official feeds load automatically only after you select “Accept external content” in the preferences below the cards. You can reject this optional content or withdraw permission there at any time. The choice is remembered in your browser. Once loaded, Meta and TikTok may set cookies and process technical data such as your IP address under their own privacy policies, including transfers outside the EU. The rest of the Site works normally if you do not accept. Browser settings and platform restrictions can also prevent a live feed from appearing; the profile links remain available.

Read Meta's privacy policy and TikTok's EEA, UK and Switzerland privacy policy; TikTok also publishes a US privacy policy. Withdrawing permission stops the Site from loading the feeds while that choice remains in place. It does not delete data already received or cookies already stored by these platforms; use your browser and their privacy controls for those.

3d. Contact-form security

When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and network signals to protect the contact form against bots. TNA does not enable Turnstile pre-clearance or use it for advertising. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum. If the security check cannot load, you can contact us using the email or phone shown on the Contact page.

4. Why there is no cookie banner

This Site uses cookieless aggregate analytics and asks for permission at the point where optional Google Maps and Instagram/TikTok content appears. Until you accept a category, its embeds stay blocked. Rejecting a category does not block the rest of the Site, and continuing to browse does not count as acceptance. The implementation therefore uses these local choices rather than a site-wide banner.

4a. Future optional cookies

If we add optional analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or social media cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent before those cookies are activated where required by law.

5. Browser controls

You can block or delete cookies through your browser's privacy or security settings. Rejecting optional maps or social content does not prevent you from reading the Site or contacting TNA.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top.
